A MARC train was used for Altoona Railfest '98 excursions around Horseshoe Curve and up the mountain to the loop track at Gallitzin and return to Altoona. MARC 51 and 65 GP40WH-2s was the motive power used in pull-pull configuration eliminating the need to run around the train for each trip out of Altoona. Seen here with MARC 65 leading, the train heading back to Altoona has just come off the loop at AR tower.
