37 years after my first trip to Enola in May, 1977, a return to Overview in the early morning on May 9, 2014 shows a similar layout of Enola's westbound classification yard and eastbound receiving tracks.
An interesting change, however, was the removal of the connecting track that split from the westbound section, ran under I-81, and passed behind and to the right of the yard office. The track was still in use in 1986, but gone by 2014.
The early morning action showed five westbound trains being readied to depart. As NS 2772, 2750, and 5606 sort autoracks, including CR TTGX 159496, ex-CR SD40-2 6976(NS 3433) waits underneath I-81, and ex-CR C40-8W 6188(NS 8395) waits in the distance to the right of the yard office.
