CR 8710 and 8709 idling at Spring Street Yard in Reading PA, October 1987

Former Reading SW900m's idle at Spring Street in Reading, PA on a sunny October 1987 morning. These are not the only consecutively numbered locomotives in this shot. If you look carefully on the right, you'll see all three Conrail E8's, 4020, 4021 & 4022 have just arrived and are heading to the passenger car shop. This was the only time I ever saw the rear headlight of one of the E's on; in this case 4022.
