When the Reading Division of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) transitioned to Conrail-contracted operations in April, 1976, the top of the ticket receipts changed from the Reading Lines diamond to "Consolidated Rail Corporation." The initial "ConRail" logo with lines above and below seen on RDG division timetables from May 1 through October 31, 1976 was not used. The final wheels on rails CONRAIL logo in CR blue appeared on the timetables soon after. Due to the dates not being reflected on ticket receipts, a true date in 1976 for the transition to CR blue is not known.
