EL 3236, one of 50 low-roof trailer MU cars built by Pullman in 1925, rests with semi-pemanently coupled sister power car at Hoboken in August, 1977.
The cars were not renumbered during their few years operated by Conrail under contract with NJDOT, or later by NJ Transit.
MU trailer 3236 has been preserved by the Brooks Preservation Society as part of rolling stock for the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad in Belfast, Maine.
