While awaiting the arrival of RDG 4-8-4 #2102, an elder railfan gets a close up view of CR SD45 6157, SDP45 6689 (ex-EL 3658), and SD40 6277 hard at work at Horseshoe on May 22, 1977.

With his camera at his side, he's saving his film for the steamer that he may have ridden on one of the many Reading Iron Horse Rambles from 1958 - 1964. Interesting to note that RDG #2102 was the second unit in a doubleheader behind #2100 during the last Iron Horse Ramble in October 17, 1964.
