Conrail. Freight with GG-1 #4885 at Metuchen, NJ station switching the yard.December 16, 1979 at night. Film was Kodak Ektachrome 160 ASA. The high speed film back then was very grainy, but was the only game in town for shooting moving trains at night. The Ektachrome does not age very well. The camera was a Yashica 35mm with a flash sync of 1/125 sec at f2.8 and the Vivitar flash set on manual for full flash output.
