GG-1 #4853 & #4837 leads another GG-1 on eastbound freight at Adams Station in North Brunswick, NJ. on track 2. The date is October 18, 1978, a few years after the formation of Conrail. Seeing 3 GG-1's on a freight was not very common. It appears the 3rd GG-1 has it's pantographs down, although when she went by I could here her motors working.
