CR-operated NJDOT E-8A 4328 (ex-PC) sits in a line of E-units at South Amboy in March, 1978. Built in 8/53, the E-8A would operate over the NY&LB almost 3 more years by CR, followed by 2 with NJ Transit, before being retired at Elizabethport in 4/1983.
Formerly NYC 4085, this unit has been preserved at the New York Central Museum in Elkhart, Indiana.
