On the first day of the 44-day Septa TWU strike in 1977, numerous CR equipment was mixed in with Amtrak units at 30th Street Station. Flanked by Amtrak E-60's 970 and 973, CR E-8A 4022 rests at the 30th Street Station engine facility.
