GP40-2 #3337 meets GP40 #3342 at Prospect Ave crossing, Piscataway, NJ. on September 7, 1984. This is one of the night photography spots that Ed Kaspriske and I frequented in the 1980's. Normally, we do not see meets, so this was a great surprise! Note our lawn chairs on the right side of the photo. Warm late summer evenings were great for night photography! I used a Nikon FM-2 film camera set on the flash sync of 1/250th/sec, a 28 to 90 lens set at f2.8 and a Vivitar 5200 flash unit set for manual discharge. Both trains were traveling at approximately 45 MPH. The flash does all the work.
