A view of our tent in the evening hours of Day 1 on Friday, July 2. Most railfans are trackside and out of view, eagarly awaiting the approach of CSX coal train K171 from the east. The large railroad issue Conrail flag hanging on the right side of the tent let all the passing trains know why we were there and also provided much needed relief from the sun in the evening hours.
