West end Enola view of incoming freight. The photo shows how the caboose could couple onto a departing freight from the gravity track (pimple track) to either track. I figured it would show the trackage and crossovers for those who never saw that operation in the PRR, Penn Central and very early Conrail days. I took the photo in March 1984. If anyone was modeling Enola on a Conrail model railroad around 1976 to the mid 1980's, this photo might be helpful for them. There some views of how the Enola caboose gravity track worked on YouTube. I know Ed Kaspriske has a short 8mm film of this operation on YouTube.
Note that the caboose track is rusted.
