TE 4104 is seen in the former CNJ yard in Elizabthport NJ during the spring of 2000. This was a Tie Remover / Inserter mounted on a Plasser American production tamper platform. The tamper functions were removed during the conversion. Conrail had several of these repurposed machines and were most likely rebuilt at the System Maintenance of Way Shop in Canton Ohio.
