In what was a rare move by this time, CR 8220, 8223(patched as PRR 5361), and another GP38-2 leads local train WILI-50 straight across the diamond on the newly rerouted main track for the PRR Ft. Wayne line past long closed Crest Tower on May 29, 1999. In the background you can see the signal bridge that stood over the original alignment of the Ft. Wayne line, which used to go right next to the old passenger platform, which is to my left in the photo. The train, which originated in Lima, OH was on its way to Mansfield, OH to switch a customer.
