CR 8079, 3184 with the "1" missing on the left side of the cab, & 3011 exit Gallitzin Tunnel. CR 8079 GP38-2 & 3184 GP40 were ex-PC units, CR 3011 was an ex-NYC/PC GP40.
The first cars of this westbound freight were autoracks with Ford Pintos assembled at Ford's Edison Assembly Plant, Edison, NJ.
Gallitzin Tunnel would be taken out of service 17 years later when adjacent Allegheny Tunnel would be expanded to two tracks and clearance increased for double-stacks.
