CR 7577 leading XCI at Hecks on the Buffalo Line. 10/87

Conrail GP10 7577, with Norfolk Southern SD60s 6588 & 6596, is leading S/B empty coal hopper train XCI on CR's Buffalo Line, here, approaching the PA RT 443 overpass at Hecks.

Less than two miles ahead, XCI will turn right and cross the Susquehanna River on the Rockville Bridge and then turn west on the Pittsburgh Line.

The empties are most likely coming from the Sunbury Generating Station in Shamokin Dam and heading back west to Cresson, PA and eventually to a mine on the Cambria & Indiana RR for a re-fill, thus the XCI.
