CR 6573 leads TV-6X past Washington depot at 11:14 on Jan. 4, 1994. As a trivial aside, that's not a "hair" I missed in the photo at left. This spot in the foreground is the former location of Washington depot and freight house. When the buildings were razed, the basements weren't filled in completely, which resulted in the occasional "sinkhole" forming. Railroad employees, I assume, would stick a tree branch in the hole as a warning to others of the hazard. That's what you're seeing.
