A former EL GP-7 (ex 1271) is still in EL colors in this March 1979 view at Motor yard in Northfield,Ohio, but that ex PC transfer cabin car has a new coat of dress blue. The 5986 will eventually get blue too. Note the speaker stand near the caboose- that's how the yard crews use to talk to the yardmasters directly without using a radio, another bygone way of railroading.
