CR 5050 at 16th Street Chicago, IL

This is actually a westbound Conrail double-stack train destined for C&NW's Global One as it passes CNW's 16th Street Tower. It entered Global One at Ogden Jct. and used the Foreign Lead to Morgan Street. The train then took head room on the St Charles Air Line in order to back into the Extension Yard. This took place on a Sunday afternoon in February 1990. Doug Davidson photo with permission
