CR 4022 on New Jersey Transit train, South Amboy, NJ 9/23/81

NJT E-8 #4352 & Conrail E-8 #4022 with southbound passenger. near South. Amboy, NJ. This trackage is the old New York & Long Branch division of Penn Central which is now the NJT North Jersey Coastline.  The date of this picture is Sept 23, 1982.  Ed Kaspriske & I used to go to South Amboy, NJ frequently to watch & photograph the engine change from GG-1 to diesel.  Never knew what power would be on the trains to Bay Head, NJ.
