CR 3281 at State Line Tower 2

Railfans watch a detouring Conrail TV train take the signal to enter the B&OCT Barr Sub at State Line Tower in August 1983. The railfans are waiting for the passage of NW 611. The Barr Sub will be used to Pine Junction to reach Conrail's Chicago Line. The detours were necessary because Conrail's Calumet River bridge became stuck in the raised position.
