The current NS Abrams yard office shows extensive refurbishing compared to the former Reading Company office that served Conrail in it's formative years.

No yard sign was present in the early Conrail years as well.

At the site of the former CR Bethlehem engine terminal, roundhouse, and turntable, the brick office building and support building(still in green!) remain much the same as in the 1970's.  The steam-era coaling tower, powerplant, roundhouse, turntable and engine terminal, however, are long gone.

On May 28, 2016, the former Bethelehem engine terminal support building remains in use, and is still green as in the late 1970's!

When I last saw this scene in December, 1988, SD40-2's 6334 and 6303 were working the cars, and the view towards the former Bethlehem engine terminal showed both the yard light tower, and the steam-era coaling tower. 28 years later in May, 2016, the light tower remains in use, but the engine terminal, roundhouse, powerplant, and coaling tower are long gone.

On May 28, 2016, Easton tower may be long gone, but the large signal bridge remains in use above portions of the former LV passenger station.

Unlike the Morrisville yard office that retains the Conrail logo and sign, NS had added their sign to the Enola yard office.

However, the office colors still relate to Conrail's heritage on August 25, 2014.

Hatboro station has survived largely unchanged from 1976 to 2014. Initially operated by the Reading Company and later Septa, Conrail-contracted MU's provided commuter service into Philadelphia.

Electric-powered service was provided by former RDG MU's (Harlan & Hollingsworth MU's built 1931) and Silverliners (Budd Company II's and GE, Avco IV's). Only the Silverliner IV's remain in service.

Conrail assumed operations from the RDG on April 1, 1976, and provided contracted service to Septa using former RDG Harlan & Hollingsworth MU's(built 1931) and Silverliners (Budd Company II's and GE, Avco IV's).  The MU's provided commuter service to Philadelphia until 1983, when Septa assumed full operations.

The surviving Silverliner IV's remain in service on the Warminster Line.
