Bayview Yard, Baltimore MD

CR 6114, 3631, 6384 and 6459 are on the point of a coal train at Bay Tower in Baltimore, 3/84

SD45-6114, GP35-3631 & SD40-2s-6384, 6459 are on the point of a S/B coal train. Its either a Morgantown (UMP) or Chalk Point (ULK) train. I never heard the symbol. Bay Tower is to the left of 6114. 2:30PM on 3/3/84 in East Baltimore, MD. These 80 car, 10,000 ton trains usually needed a helper to get through Baltimore.

CR 8180 is leading a S/B freight through Bayview Yard, 1/15/84

Seen from the Orangeville engine terminal, GP38-2-8180 is leading a S/B freight through Bayview Yard. 1:41PM on 1/15/84 in East Baltimore, MD.

CR 8280 at Bayview, MD in 2/92

CR 8280 passes the yard tower as it works the south end of the yard at Bay View.

D&H 7616 leading S/B Guilford train RPPY at Orangeville engine terminal, Baltimore MD, 3/84

D&H GP39-2-7616, B&M GP40-325, D&H GP39-2-7620 & another D&H EMD too filthy to identify are leading S/B Guilford train RPPY (Rouses Point, NY to Potomac Yard, VA). In this view from Conrail's Orangeville engine terminal, its on 'A' track of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. The bridge overhead is Chessie Systems Sparrows Point Industrial Track. 1:55PM on 3/3/84 in East Baltimore, MD.
