Of the many engine terminals throughout the Conrail system, this gallery includes facilities at Abrams, Ashtabula, Bethlehem, Bison yard, Brier Hill, Collinwood, Conway, Cresson, Croxton, Edgemoor, Enola, Frontier yard, Greenwich yard, Hartford, Johnstown, Lebanon, Lewistown, Morrisville, Olean, Orangeville yard, Pavonia, Rochester, Sayre, Selkirk, South Amboy, Wilmington, and Youngstown.

Two high school railfans came across a prize during our first trip to Enola in May, 1977. Late in the day, my friend zoomed in on CR GG-1 4800 as it sat in it's wild Bicentennial paint scheme.

Another 1981 view of Enola Yard shows SD40-2 6485, GP35 2306 (ex-PC 2306, nee-PRR 2306), and SD40-2 6469 while a CR boxcar (possibly CR 154372? looks to be an X44 from the Despatch ends...) takes a ride down the hump.

Two fresh out of high school railfans first visited Conway in August of 1977 and found a mixture of CR predecessor roads and many locomotive builders. My friend captured CR U36C 6592 (ex-EL 3321) late in the day.

CR 6779 was the last of the 15 PC C630's in their series 6315-6329.

Ex-PC C636 6789 made it all the way east to Croxton yard in March, 1979.

Previously, I spotted only two of these monsters anywhere east of their Conway and Mingo Junction homes. In 1977, CR 6791 rolled through Abrams, PA and in 1978, CR 6788 rolled through Cresson, PA. But seeing a C636 in CR blue in NJ, and in 1979, was a great surprise.
