The BH1C class of ballast cars were built new for Conrail in 1984-1985.

Conrail's BH1D class was constructed at Hollidaysburg from late 1986 to early 1987. The cars were assembled from kits supplied by Bethlehem Steel.

The SD42A class was built by Difco in two batches as CR 53290-53349 & 53501-53535 between March-May of 1978.

The Boston & Albany lives! Three bay hopper with "B&A" sublettering at Chester, MA. on March 14, 1981. Used in captive MOW service.

Car is ex NH 117082 and was built 11-54, rebuilt to ballast car 5-76. (Color is off due to original slide being red-shifted)

Car is ex PRR. Note that the number is out of the normal series for these ballast cars (numbered just above the BH1C's purchased by Conrail).
